The representations made of linguistic input are thus those that are optimally effective in mediating such interconnections. Analysis of this requirement gives clear indications as to what these mechanisms may be. date: 1982-11 type: Departmental Technical Report type: NonPeerReviewed format: text/html identifier: http://cogprints.org/217/1/lang1.html format: application/postscript identifier: http://cogprints.org/217/4/lang1.ps identifier: Josephson, Brian D. and Blair, David G.
