--- abstract: 'Our view of "reflexion" has been essentially broadened during the last twenty years. Traditionally we have considered it to consist of the conscious constructing of images of the self and others by human beings. Now we have evidence that there is a reflexion of another nature as well. It is as if an inborn informational processor is built in into human psyche whose function is to automatically create these images together with their subjective domains. This processor generates a specific specter of human responses not controlled consciously and running extremely fast (one-two milliseconds). This type of reflexion,as distinct from the traditional concept, is called fast reflexion (Lefebvre, 1987). In this paper we will decipher the mathematical laws governing the automatic functioning of this inborn processor and show how they reveal themselves in human behavior (Adams-Webber, 1996a). The result of this analysis will be a formal model of the subject with fast reflexion' altloc: [] chapter: ~ commentary: ~ commref: ~ confdates: ~ conference: ~ confloc: ~ contact_email: ~ creators_id: [] creators_name: - family: Lefebvre given: Vladimir A. honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: Adams-Webber given: Jack honourific: '' lineage: '' date: 2002 date_type: published datestamp: 2003-02-06 department: ~ dir: disk0/00/00/27/60 edit_lock_since: ~ edit_lock_until: ~ edit_lock_user: ~ editors_id: [] editors_name: - family: Lepsky given: Vladimir E. honourific: '' lineage: '' eprint_status: archive eprintid: 2760 fileinfo: /style/images/fileicons/application_pdf.png;/2760/1/Fast_Reflexion.pdf full_text_status: public importid: ~ institution: ~ isbn: ~ ispublished: pub issn: ~ item_issues_comment: [] item_issues_count: 0 item_issues_description: [] item_issues_id: [] item_issues_reported_by: [] item_issues_resolved_by: [] item_issues_status: [] item_issues_timestamp: [] item_issues_type: [] keywords: 'bipolar choice, reflexion, automatic choice, mere exposure, mental models' lastmod: 2011-03-11 08:55:08 latitude: ~ longitude: ~ metadata_visibility: show note: ~ number: 1 pagerange: 29-40 pubdom: FALSE publication: Reflexive Processes and Control publisher: ~ refereed: TRUE referencetext: |2 REFERENCES Adams-Webber, J.
