--- abstract: "Double tachycardia is a relatively rare condition. We describe a 21 year old woman with history of frequent palpitations. In one of these episodes, she had wide complex tachycardia with right bundle branch and inferior axis morphology. A typical atrioventricular nodal tachycardia was induced during electrophysiologic study, aimed at induction of clinically documented tachycardia. Initially no ventricular tachycardia was inducible. After successful ablation of slow pathway, a wide complex tachycardia was induced by programmed stimulation from right ventricular outflow tract. Mapping localized the focus of tachycardia in left ventricular outflow tract and successfully ablated via retrograde aortic approach. During 7 month's follow-up, she has been symptom free with no recurrence. This work describes successful ablation of rare combination of typical atrioventricular nodal tachycardia and left ventricular outflow tract tachycardia in the same patient during one session.\n" altloc: - http://www.ipej.org/0502/haghjoo2.htm chapter: ~ commentary: ~ commref: ~ confdates: ~ conference: ~ confloc: ~ contact_email: ~ creators_id: [] creators_name: - family: Haghjoo given: Majid honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: Arya given: Arash honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: Dehghani given: Mohammadreza honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: Emkanjoo given: Zahra honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: Fazelifar given: Amirfarjam honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: Heidari given: Alireza honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: Sadr-Ameli given: MohammadAli honourific: '' lineage: '' date: 2005-04 date_type: published datestamp: 2005-04-16 department: ~ dir: disk0/00/00/42/25 edit_lock_since: ~ edit_lock_until: ~ edit_lock_user: ~ editors_id: [] editors_name: - family: Singh given: Balbir honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: Lokhandwala given: Yash honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: Francis given: Johnson honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: Gupta given: Anup honourific: '' lineage: '' eprint_status: archive eprintid: 4225 fileinfo: /style/images/fileicons/text_html.png;/4225/1/haghjoo2.htm|/style/images/fileicons/application_pdf.png;/4225/2/haghjoo2.pdf full_text_status: public importid: ~ institution: ~ isbn: ~ ispublished: pub issn: ~ item_issues_comment: [] item_issues_count: 0 item_issues_description: [] item_issues_id: [] item_issues_reported_by: [] item_issues_resolved_by: [] item_issues_status: [] item_issues_timestamp: [] item_issues_type: [] keywords: "double tachycardia; left ventricular outflow tract tachycardia; atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia.\n" lastmod: 2011-03-11 08:55:57 latitude: ~ longitude: ~ metadata_visibility: show note: ~ number: 2 pagerange: 149-154 pubdom: TRUE publication: Indian Pacing and Electrophysiology Journal publisher: Indian Pacing and Electrophysiology Group refereed: TRUE referencetext: |- 1.
