--- abstract: 'The “individuation” of oral language - what makes a speaker different from another - is still largely an unknown territory [1], especially with respect to the individual and creative use of speech prosody. This pilot study raises fundamental, methodological and empirical issues concerning the relationship between speakers’ prosodic styles and their personality profiles. Our preliminary results support the hypothesis of a relationship between prosodic styles and "personality style" as perceived by listeners.' altloc: [] chapter: ~ commentary: ~ commref: ~ confdates: 23-26 Mars 2004 conference: Speech Prosody 2004 confloc: 'Nara, Japan' contact_email: ~ creators_id: [] creators_name: - family: Zellner Keller given: Brigitte honourific: Dr. lineage: '' date: 2004 date_type: published datestamp: 2006-04-29 department: ~ dir: disk0/00/00/48/56 edit_lock_since: ~ edit_lock_until: ~ edit_lock_user: ~ editors_id: [] editors_name: - family: Bel given: Bernard honourific: Dr. lineage: '' - family: Marlien given: Isabelle honourific: Dr. lineage: '' eprint_status: archive eprintid: 4856 fileinfo: /style/images/fileicons/application_pdf.png;/4856/1/SP2004_BZK.pdf full_text_status: public importid: ~ institution: ~ isbn: ~ ispublished: pub issn: ~ item_issues_comment: [] item_issues_count: 0 item_issues_description: [] item_issues_id: [] item_issues_reported_by: [] item_issues_resolved_by: [] item_issues_status: [] item_issues_timestamp: [] item_issues_type: [] keywords: ~ lastmod: 2011-03-11 08:56:24 latitude: ~ longitude: ~ metadata_visibility: show note: ~ number: ~ pagerange: 383-386 pubdom: TRUE publication: ~ publisher: ISCA refereed: TRUE referencetext: ~ relation_type: [] relation_uri: [] reportno: ~ rev_number: 12 series: ~ source: ~ status_changed: 2007-09-12 17:03:06 subjects: - psy-ling - percep-cog-psy succeeds: ~ suggestions: ~ sword_depositor: ~ sword_slug: ~ thesistype: ~ title: 'Prosodic Styles and Personality Styles: are the two interrelated' type: confpaper userid: 21 volume: SP 200
