--- abstract: 'Neuroblastoma, ganglioneuroblastoma and ganglioneuroma arise from sympathetic tissue in the neck, posterior mediastinum, adrenal gland, retroperitoneum and pelvis Ganglioneuromas are commonly seen in childhood. They are highly differentiated benign tumors and are compatible with long-term disease free survival. Retroperitoneal localization is relatively frequent for these tumors. Due to its rarity and lack of specific radiological findings diagnosis is always postoperative. Here, we present a case of Retroperitoneal ganglioneuroma which was undiagnosed before surgery.' altloc: - http://www.ojhas.org/issue36/2010-4-19.htm chapter: ~ commentary: ~ commref: ~ confdates: ~ conference: ~ confloc: ~ contact_email: ~ creators_id: - dr.pkshetty@gmail.com - ~ - ~ - ~ creators_name: - family: Shetty given: Prasad K honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: K given: Balaiah honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: S given: Gnana Prakash honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: Shetty given: Prasanna K honourific: '' lineage: '' date: 2011-01-20 date_type: published datestamp: 2011-05-02 17:16:31 department: ~ dir: disk0/00/00/72/62 edit_lock_since: ~ edit_lock_until: 0 edit_lock_user: ~ editors_id: - BS Kakkilaya editors_name: - family: Kakkilaya given: Srinivas honourific: Dr lineage: '' eprint_status: archive eprintid: 7262 fileinfo: /style/images/fileicons/application_pdf.png;/7262/1/2010%2D4%2D19.pdf full_text_status: public importid: ~ institution: ~ isbn: ~ ispublished: pub issn: ~ item_issues_comment: [] item_issues_count: 0 item_issues_description: [] item_issues_id: [] item_issues_reported_by: [] item_issues_resolved_by: [] item_issues_status: [] item_issues_timestamp: [] item_issues_type: [] keywords: Ganglioneuroma; Retroperitoneum; Computed Tomography lastmod: 2011-05-02 17:16:31 latitude: ~ longitude: ~ metadata_visibility: show note: ~ number: 4 pagerange: ~ pubdom: TRUE publication: Online Journal of Health and Allied Sciences publisher: BS Kakkilaya refereed: TRUE referencetext: "1.\tLonergan GJ, Schwab CM, Suarez ES, Carlson CL.
