Part I: Separate Fittings of Experimental Data
%X The short term memory field is inundated with computer models purporting to describe the workings of our mind. I show that several of them are not based in science: they use parameters that do not have intrinsic values but are simply separately fitted to each experimental situation, in effect treating each memory experiment as having different-species subjects.
