abstract = {The proposed theory of the neuropsychological system (NPS) consists of two parts, which correspond to two stages of theoretical and experimental modelling of NPS. The first part is the system-information approach to the analysis of neural-signal and mental phenomena, which allows to investigate organization of information contents of nervous signals into information-psychological phenomena of higher level of organization. The second part of the research project is the theory of two-level organization of NPS. This theory defines contents and mechanisms of a neural-reflex level, embracing neural base of unconscious and unconscious contents of the psyche, and modular-coordinate level, embracing oscillatory neural-modular base of consciousness and consciousness itself.}
