--- abstract: 'Oral region is an uncommon site for metastatic tumour cell colonization and usually evidence of wide spread disease, It accounts for only 1% of all oral malignant neoplasm’s. They mainly involve the bony structures (particularly the mandible), whereas primary metastases to soft tissues are extraordinarily rare (only 0.1% of oral malignancies). The breast is the most common primary site for tumors that metastasize to the jawbones, whereas the lung is the most common source for cancers that metastasize to the oral soft tissues. We are reporting an extremely rare case of carcinoma stomach with oral soft tissue metastatic lesion in the upper alveolar ridge extending to involving the upper labial mucosa extending up to the premolars on right side on the gingio- buccal sulcus.' altloc: - http://www.ojhas.org/issue47/2013-3-11.html chapter: ~ commentary: ~ commref: ~ confdates: ~ conference: ~ confloc: ~ contact_email: ~ creators_id: - manjunathkv7@gmail.com - ~ creators_name: - family: Manjunath given: KV honourific: '' lineage: '' - family: Guruprasad given: B honourific: '' lineage: '' date: 2013-11-13 date_type: published datestamp: 2014-08-24 21:10:49 department: ~ dir: disk0/00/00/96/98 edit_lock_since: ~ edit_lock_until: 0 edit_lock_user: ~ editors_id: - Kakkilaya BS editors_name: - family: Kakkilaya given: Srinivas honourific: Dr lineage: '' eprint_status: archive eprintid: 9698 fileinfo: /9698/1.hassmallThumbnailVersion/2013-3-11.pdf;/9698/1/2013-3-11.pdf full_text_status: public importid: ~ institution: ~ isbn: ~ ispublished: pub issn: ~ item_issues_comment: [] item_issues_count: ~ item_issues_description: [] item_issues_id: [] item_issues_reported_by: [] item_issues_resolved_by: [] item_issues_status: [] item_issues_timestamp: [] item_issues_type: [] keywords: Oesophago gastric duodenoscopy; Fine needle aspiration cytology; Immune histochemistry lastmod: 2015-04-20 11:44:59 latitude: ~ longitude: ~ metadata_visibility: show note: ~ number: 3(11) pagerange: ~ pubdom: TRUE publication: Online Journal of Health and Allied Sciences publisher: Kakkilaya BS refereed: TRUE referencetext: "1.\tDevesa SS, Blot WJ, Fraumeni JF Jr. Changing patterns in the incidence of esophageal and gastric carcinoma in the United States.
