Recent happenings in the psychology department have sparked a number
of issues that I think, as psychologists, are worth thinking about.
As you most likely know, by the very fact that you are reading this,
'skywriting' is catching on.........BUT:

1. Does 'skywriting' promote interaction or isolation between students?

2. Will it replace tutorials? Has it? Can it? Should it?

3. Given that a lot of us clearly have things to say about aspects of
the course(s), why aren't they aired in the lecture room? Is this an
alternative, or some kind of remedial compromise?

4. What makes skywriting a turn on/off (delete as appropriate) for people?

I do have opinions about these issues (surprise!), that fit quite
neatly into neighbours/football analogies, if anyone's interested. As
this is being read by the enlightened/disillusioned (delete as
appropriate) among us, ask non-emailing friends for their opinions
too!

Regards all, Dxxx

P.S. Conference still on next Saturday and places on the coach still
available.....moral support welcome!

P.P.S. Any Saints fans reading this? "Bad luck, you plucky losers!"
Ha. Ha. Ha!
