In this weeks interactions reading group, we will be discussing a number of papers that have come out of the Equator project and how they challenge traditional thoughts on HCI.

Primary paper: Seamful and Seamless Design in Ubiquitous Computing.
This paper questions whether seamlessness in ubiquitous computing is always a preferable choice or whether the users can benefit from the presence of seems.
Supporting paper: Information Awareness and Representation
This paper looks that the way in which how information is presented affects the awareness of people and information within their awareness of a computer system.
Primary paper: On Hyperstructure and Musical Structure.
This paper investigates the relationship between musical structure and hyperstructure. It looks at experiments that have used musical content to explore hypermedia and techniques that can be learn from them.
