I have always found the oceans/seas fascinating as well as daunting. I have lived (Mauritius, Marseille, Sydney, Poole) and travelled (Kairkoura, Quebec, Vancouver, Mombasa, Cairns, Monterey Bay – 5 weeks ago) to many beautiful coastlines and have snorkled, scuba dived, fished or simply floated in the respective seas. However, as I have heard quite a bit in this first week, I have not even scratched the surface!

Although the Blue Planet type programmes are fascinating, I can’t wait to read, hear and see the latest findings of (local) experts!
