TODAY'S SEMINAR
13:00 in the DSL
For various reasons, Adrian's seminar of today, Monday, is being replaced
by Vicki's seminar from last week, on CLIME, The Complete Lifecycle
Management System.
NEW NEWSLETTER
This is the first of a new weekly newsletter which has been started for the
DSL. It will appear most (!) Mondays, and be distributed by email to the
members of the Lab, and others who might be interested. The idea is that
there are bits of gossip that you wouldn't put on the bulletin board, but
might write a couple of lines about.
So tell us things like:
- your latest techncal success;
- where you are going next week;
- comments on where you have been;
- where your latest paper will be published;
- your latest grant application;
- visitors;
- interest meetings you have heard about;
and any other news you have.
So whenever anything happens that might be of interest, or encouraging, to
the members of the Lab, just email me and it will appear in due course. A
good time to think of things is when you are reading the previous
newsletter.
EMAIL ADDRESSES NEEDED
I suggest we include on the mailing list project students who are doing
closely related work. So if you want a project student on the list, send me
their email id.
Copy deadline: 5pm Friday for Monday's newsletter, but send the articles
any time.
