| This paper presents a data distribution and a communicationscheme for the parallelization of the preconditionerbased on the incomplete LU factorization, forsolving a large sparse sets of equation $Ax=b$.The parallel performance tests of the preconditioner,using BiCGStab($\ell$) and GMRES($m$) method,are carried out on a distributed memoryparallel machine AP1000. The numerical results showthat the preconditioner based on the incomplete LU factorizationcan be used even for MIMD parallel machines. |
