Biography

After leaving secretarial college, I worked for several years for an insurance company and then moved to an independent architect’s office as PA to two of the partners. I then moved to the University of Southampton in 1993 to work as an assistant in the Language Resources Centre. I have since then moved on to work on several external funded projects, including CKS, CIEL and Subject Centre for Languages, Linguistics and Area Studies.

My current role is senior administrator for LLAS Centre for Languages, Linguistics and Area Studies. I am responsible for overseeing the work of the admin team and supporting the academic coordinators in all aspects of their work from events/workshops/conferences to funded projects.
