The University of Southampton Institute of Transducer Technology (USITT) promotes co-operation between industry and the University of Southampton in the field of transducers (sensors and actuators) through programmes of research and by offering a consultancy service. USITT possesses a wide range of experience including MEMS devices, thick-film hybrid sensors, conventional transducer design, analytical and finite element transducer modelling and thedevelopment of new sensing materials.
