UK Research Councils' Open Access Policies

As many of you will have seen, Research Councils UK (the umbrella group
for the UK Research Councils) has published its policy statement on open
access:

http://www.rcuk.ac.uk/access/

The statement acknowledges the need for individual disciplines to set
their own policies and each Research Council has issued its own
statement. The individual polices range from a watching brief through to
mandates for deposit. To help tease out some of the differences, I have
put together the attached rough-and-ready table that lists the main
points of each Councils’ policies. Corrections and additions would
be welcome.

Best wishes

David
