Peter Banks,

        Have you ever considered compensating
reviewers, e.g. by offering them free reprints of
their own papers, or by not charging for them
publication or for color illustrations? If
reviewers do provide added value, then from your
perspective, they clearly deserve compensation.
On the other hand, in an OA environment,
reviewing is seen as a win-win activity so the
activity is automatically compensating the
reviewer, in a broad sense.

Do you offer the same kind of agreement
with your authors that the American Physical
Society provides, giving the author essentially
unlimited rights to distribute her or his own
work?
