Open Journals: the user view
 
  • Users are very demanding.
  • Citation links are popular, but users will always want more links.
  • Users suspicious of keyword links in texts: must be clearly labelled and unambiguous.
  • Technology must be transparent: users want better services without having to install new software or change computer settings.
  • Links help navigation but users also need orientation.
