Conclusion

The Open Citation project is on target in year 1 to deliver

  • A demonstrator of a large, fully linked archive
  • An interface to link distributed archives
    • a specified API for reference linking
    • Eprints-based link checking
The project will continue working with the Open Archives initiative to extend these services to more archives and to integrate effectively with other open archive services.
