How to improve reference linking

Linking gives improved services for users, but how can we link more references and a higher proportion of references?

  • Improve access - OAi
  • Combine resources - e.g. databases such as SLAC SPIRES
  • Better source data:
    • improved interfaces for authors
    • immediate feedback on quality of reference data
  • Digitise older works
