Installer for Fedora/RedHat/CentOS

An installer for Fedora, RedHat and CentOS is available via svn checkout from:

 svn checkout svn://rubyforge.org/var/svn/myexperiment/trunk/installers/fedora

This installs a minimally configured instance of myExperiment (for Rails 2) on a Fedora/RedHat/CentOS system. It should provide the myExperiment web interface at http://localhost/ (substitute with hostname as appropriate) as well as configure email delivery, as long as in the settings file you specify a email server that can relay email without authentication.

This installer has been developed on a freshly installed Fedora 13 minimal install. It should consequently work on RedHat 6 and CentOS 6.0. The installer should also work on later versions of Fedora, RedHat and CentOS, as well as working with non-freshly installed systems, however it is possible you may experience some problems.

Update: This installer has been tested and found to work fully with Fedora 16.
