Delpha 95 Offer - Stewart Brodie

the new Borland development environment for Microsoft Windows

Borland have sent me a special offer to buy the above tool for only £199 (43% off the RRP of £349). This offer lasts until March 31st. I don't want it - do you?

It's basically a Microsoft Windows development environment which is like Visual Basic except you write the code in Object Pascal; the code is compiled to a standalone executable (you don't need an interpreter/RTS like VB does); and Borland says that "Delphi code will run ten to twenty times as fast as that of competing products". More details from me or Windows User March 1995 issue "Delights of Delphi", but Mike Lewis.

Copy deadline: 5pm Friday for Monday's newsletter, but send the articles any time.
