TOPIC: Microcosm meets the Information Superhighway

Abstract: Dave has been involved with the design of a distributed, scalable architecture for the new generation of software components for the Microcosm multimedia information management system. In this talk he will describe the Microcosm philosophy, take a critical look at the Web as a distributed hypermedia system, and describe the vision of Microcosm The New Generation.
