This is the home page of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Assessment Network (e3an) which is a HEFCE funded Fund for Development in Teaching & Learning (FDTL) Phase 3 project (No. 53/99)

The project has built a set of peer reviewed test bank questions for electrical and electronic engineering. It has also established and built a network in order to identify and disseminate good practice in Engineering Assessment to UK Academics.

The project is based around a regional consortium of engineers at:

  • the University of Southampton - Su White (Project Co-ordinator), Peter Ashburn, Richard Crowder, Hugh Davis, Kate Dickens and Christopher Havill
  • Bournemouth University - Jim Roach and Christine Keenan
  • the University of Portsmouth - Tim Morgan and Djamel Azzi
  • Southampton Institute - Sean Wellington

The project is in close contact with the Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE) who are represented on the project steering group.
