Miya Liu 

Miya Liu is a PhD student funded by CSC, in ECS WAIS group, due to graduate in 2022. Miya started her PhD research since 2017 under the supervisoion of Prof Age Chapman, Dr Luis-Daniel Ibáñez and Prof Elena Simperl. Before that, she received her BS degree in Information Security from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) and Master degree in Computer System from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS). 

Miya's research is in the area of Data Market, in particular trading data with the constraint of budgets according to the pricing strategies of data. This involves data pricing, federate query engine, query optimization, graph theory and optimization algorithms.
