The Subject Centre for Languages, Linguistics and Area Studies held its third roadshow on 21 May 2001 at the University of Wales, Swansea. The event aimed to:

  • Promote awareness of the Subject Centre's activities throughout the UK
  • Inform future Subject Centre activities including seminars and workshops
  • Raise the profile of learning and teaching related issues
  • Contribute to the European Year of Languages initiative

Those invited to attend included anybody involved in the teaching of Languages, Linguistics and Area Studies in UK Higher Education Institutions.
