The Subject Centre for Languages, Linguistics and Area Studies in collaboration with Scottish Cilt held a roadshow event in Scotland on 30 January 2001 at the University of Stirling. The event aimed to:
- Promote awareness of the Subject Centre's activities throughout the UK
- Inform future Subject Centre activities including seminars and workshops
- Raise the profile of learning and teaching related issues
- Contribute to the European Year of Languages initiative
The event was organised for anybody involved in the teaching of Languages, Linguistics and Area Studies in UK Higher Education Institutions
