Nominations for UCML Exec vacancy

Dear colleagues,
There is currently a vacancy for a representative of Germanic Studies on the Executive Committee of the University Council of Modern Languages and we would welcome nominations to fill this vacancy by 30th November. Members of the Executive serve on the Committee for three years and their membership may be extended for a further year. Their role is to represent their area of specialism and to support the Executive according to their expertise. The Executive meets four times a year and there are also two plenary meetings. The estimated time commitment for the role is 8 days. Please find attached the nomination form. Nominations must be accompanied by the names of the proposer and seconder with confirmation of the prior agreement of the nominee and supported by a brief biographical statement containing details of membership of relevant associations, area of specialism, and roles and responsibilities of the nominee, as appropriate.
