Invitation to tender: Teaching and Learning of International Students (TALIS) Project Director

The Higher Education Academy is tendering to contract an individual to lead in the establishment and ongoing development of the TALIS project in association with the Prime Minister's Initiative and UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA).
Project Director: 90-130 days over twelve months from 1 August 2009
The Higher Education Academy are seeking to appoint a person of the highest calibre and reputation in the UK Higher Education sector and internationally, with particular emphasis on their contribution to the field of teaching and learning of international students. The ideal person will be a learning and teaching professional or academic with a record of research or active involvement in the international student arena.
This project has the potential to influence policy directly at a number of levels, both nationally and institutionally, and help to steer the direction of Internationalisation developments in UK HE.
