The Cultural and Scientific departments of the French Embassy wish to draw the attention of academic departments within British universities and research institutes to their cooperation programme dedicated to research activities such as seminars and colloquia.
The Cultural and Scientific departments of the French Embassy wish to draw the attention of academic departments within British universities and research institutes to their cooperation programme dedicated to research activities such as seminars and colloquia. This programme aims at developing research exchanges and cooperation between France and the UK. Funds will be awarded towards the expenses incurred by French speakers invited to events organised by British Institutions.
All academic subjects will be considered (Sciences, Technology, Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, French studies, etc.) and the submitted projects will be evaluated. The following criteria will be taken into consideration:
- The event must be supported by the department and form part of the University / Institute global project.
- The research topic must be scientifically sound and preferably relevant to contemporary concerns or of an interdisciplinary nature.
- Preference will be given to events involving recognised specialists of all nationalities or which may draw large audiences.
- Special attention will be paid to projects which will be followed by the publication of papers or could contribute to the creation of new research networks.
