The Subject Centre produced a notebook of useful information for its constituents. LLAS Notes: Useful information for Languages, Linguistics and Area Studies in Higher Education was a new way of providing the Subject Centre's community with key information. LLAS Notes had four main functions, tying into our overall strategy. It included:

• up to date facts and figures on higher education in our subject areas
• a comprehensive directory of subject associations and related organisations
• more information about the Subject Centre and what we do, and
• a place for making your own notes.
