Sunday 3rd September
9.00 Optional tour:
Stonehenge and Salisbury Cathedral
Departure will be from Glen Eyre Road, near the Hall of Residence.
The tour will stop at Winchester and Stockbridge before going to Salisbury.
At Salisbury there will be a 2 hour stop, allowing time to see the cathedral, and buy lunch
The tour will then proceed to Stonehenge, before returning to the Hall of residence.

Social Events and Tourism
The workshop starts on Sunday evening 3rd Sept with a welcome reception. There will be a banquet at Beaulieu Abbey on Monday evening 4th Sept. An optional tour of Salisbury Cathedral and Stonehenge will be available on Sunday 3rd for a small additional fee. Delegates wishing to take advantage of this trip can book an additional night accommodation on Saturday 2nd Sept. For further details (including booking form) see the web site.
Southampton is an excellent base for visiting the South of England, and is
close to famous sites such as the New Forest, Winchester and Portsmouth, where
both the HMS Victory and the famous flagship of Henry VIII, the Mary Rose and
can be visited.
