Title:
Towards a precise prediction of the dark matter relic density within the MSSM
Abstract:

With the latest Planck results the dark matter relic density is
determined to an unprecedented precision and is thus an observable,
which strongly constrains the parameter space of new physics models.
However, different uncertainties enter the theoretical calculation of
the dark matter relic density. In order to reduce those uncertainties,
we have calculated next-to-leading order SUSY-QCD corrections to
neutralino (co)annihilation processes including Coulomb enhancement
effects within the MSSM. I will discuss technical aspects of interest as
well as the phenomenology for different scenarios. Further, I will
demonstrate that the impact of our performed NLO calculation can be
larger than the current experimental uncertainty and can thus have
significant impact on the cosmologically favoured MSSM parameter space.
Finally, I will show our ongoing study combining all up to now performed
SUSY-QCD NLO calculations for the first time and studying the
corresponding scale uncertainty.
