Title:
Higgs Compositeness and Beyond the Standard Model Physics
Abstract:

Appealing solutions to the hierarchy problem of the Standard Model involve
assuming that the Higgs particle might be composite, and originates from new strong dynamics.
This general scenario has a number of concrete possible realisations, and their study requires non-perturbative theoretical methods.
I illustrate a selection of three such possibilities, via examples of calculations
that use gauge-gravity dualities, lattice gauge theories and effective field theories, respectively.
