Title:
Looking for New Physics in Higgs and Electroweak data
Abstract:

A way to search for New Physics is to look for deviations in Higgs and electroweak production. In this talk we explain how to do this in detail in the context of an Effective Theory approach. We will show how a global fit of LEP and LHC Run1 data has constrained new physics participating in the electroweak sector to a level that is competitive and complementary to direct searches for new states.
