We use the AdS/CFT correspondence to investigate the phase diagram of a "graphene" like theory: N=4 SYM with the fermions confined to two parallel surfaces. The dual of this system is a brane-antibrane pair extending into the AdS_5xS_5 bulk. By finding the free energy associated with the different solutions we can identify phase transitions between the different states of the system.
