Title:
QCD at finite temperature and magnetic field from holography
Abstract:
Using holography, we study the effects of finite temperature (T) and finite constant magnetic field (B) within QCD by studying how the chiral condensate behaves as a function of T and B. I'll first revisit the general approaches to using the holographic method to study QCD-like theories before introducing the Dynamic AdS/QCD model. We show this bottom-up approach within Dynamic AdS/QCD is able to predict and reproduce the broad behaviours indicated within lattice calculations on how the condensate varies with temperature and magnetic field.
