Title:
Discrete flavour symmetry
and its scale
Abstract:

In lepton flavour models, typical flavon vacuums are origins of special flavour structures. I will introduce a new approach to connect flavour mixing with cross couplings of different flavons. These couplings shift the VEVs of flavons and modify flavour mixing. They provide new origins for the non-zero reactor angle and CP violation. Models in this approach can be more economical than models in extra dimension or supersymmetry. Its simplicity makes it possible to test the phenomenological property of flavons.
