Title:
Representation of seesaw models and their motion in lepton flavour space
Abstract:
In this talk I will discuss how various seesaw model could be pictorially represented in lepton flavour space and how the fine-tuning in seesaw models can be envisaged as a Lorentz boost in the flavour space. I will discuss a new parametrisation of the orthogonal matrix that is widely used in the seesaw models. I will show how this new parametrisation lead to a flavour unbiased theory in general. Finally I will discuss the impact of this new parametrisation on $N_2$ leptogenesis which is a natural phenomenon in the context of grand unified theories such as SO(10). Slides can be found here.
