The study of black hole internal structure in String Theory offers the potential to resolve the black hole information paradox. I will give an overview of recent work on constructing families of smooth horizonless supergravity solutions describing black hole microstates. I will also describe recent results on worldsheet descriptions of string dynamics in black hole microstate backgrounds, and holographic studies of black hole microstates. Slides can be found here.
