probity.org is a collaborative effort and the support required to meet its objectives comes from you, its user and promoters. Your ideas, comments and corrections will be appreciated. Even better is if you can provide supporting tools to the community. Resourcing production and support for these is always problematic, but enthusiasm and zeal have created excellent tools, not least Linux and GNU.

The white papers section contains detailed information and specifications concerning what is needed. Please contact us if you think you are able to make a contribution to the support of the endeavour. Though probity.org does not wish to promote any particular products, it does want to be an objective and complete reference and resource for methods for promoting its aims.

By way of a 'taster', here is MD5tool, a Windows, drag-and-drop interface for the creation and management of MD5 digests of files. This can be used in conjuction with a traditional laboratory notebook to link computer-based files into your written records. The readme file explains more and it is available as a self-extracting ZIP file (446kB).
