Advanced Search[edit]
From the Advanced Search page the user can select the type of search he wants to do, use the eChase tools for building the search and run the search on the eChase content.

Thesauri browsing and dynamic lists[edit]
Thesauri browsing will consist of loading a number of thesauri hierachical trees in which to browse. For example you could choose to search for places and therefore load a "places" theasaurus. A tree will be displayed with a root node of "Europe" and sub nodes e.g. UK, France, Germany, which each have cities as sub-nodes...etc When the user clicks on a node, sub nodes will be displayed. By ticking the check box for the root node, all items will be searhced that contain Europe as a parent place i.e. everything. Selecting "Germany" node, a search will be performed matching all metadata items that contain "Berlin", "Munich" etc
