Links[edit]

The links of the menu bar can be grouped into three areas:

  • Search
    • Advanced Search: make an advanced search using different techniques
    • Last Search: run the last search performed by the user. The Search Result page is shown
  • Light box
    • Lightbox management: manage the user lightbox and its content
    • Active Lightbox: open the active lightbox
  • Packages (Content aggregation)
    • Annotation and packaging: manage the content annotation and the content packages
    • Commercial transactions: manage transactions with the content owners

Functionalities[edit]

  • Authentication: we will provide a basic username and password authentication mechanism for the eChase portal
  • Language selection: change the consultation language of the site
  • Simple search: inside the home page and all the other internal pages, a "simple search" box should be always visible. Using this box the user should be able to run google-style queries, inserting just the keywords relevant for him, without care about the underlying data structure. After the search is run, the Search Result page is shown
