The Electrochem meetings have been a major forum for the electrochemical community in the UK for 18 years. This year the theme of the conference is:
Electrochemistry: an interdisciplinary science.
The meeting will aim to develop a deep understanding of electrochemical phenomena and the impact that they have on different applications. The objective is to include more industrial partners and collaborators to contribute to a closer relationship between electrochemical science and its applications.
The meeting will cover a wide range of aspects related to electrochemical science and technology which will be covered by eight symposia:
- Fundamental electrochemistry
- Materials and nanomaterials
- Electrochemical engineering and technology, industrial developments
- Corrosion sciences and engineering
- Energy storage: Batteries, redox flow cells, supercapacitors
- Energy conversion, fuel cells, biofuel cells, solar cells
- Applications of electrochemistry in sensors, medicine, biology
The symposia will provide opportunities for sharing and discuss innovative work and the opportunity to networking.
