Thought I’d give the ORCHID team a bit of background about the films I make with Steve Beard. We make art films about accidents and disasters. Our method is to challenge explanations that emerge from scientific accident investigation with alternative narratives. This often involves going beyond the usual evidence base to take into account wider, non-scientific testimony from dreams, folk-lore and psychogeography.
