The POST Project - The Proposers

In order to achieve the project goals, the POST consortium includes a leading European tool developer, several end users with differing requirements, who will evaluate both the project tools and the OpenMP paradigm from their individual perspectives, and an HPC expert with tool and application development competencies. The tool provider, HPC expert and two of the end users, have cooperated in the development and evaluation of the FITS programming environment; this project is able to build upon the the collaboration which was developed within that context (ESPRIT project 23502). These existing links will this be strengthened and consolidated within this project.
