Community Process for OPM V1.1
Scope
The primary purpose of this revision of OPM is, based on our experience with the Provenance Challenge 3, to _extend OPM with elements that are necessary
to achieve the level of inter-operability required for the challenge_. The timetable for this revision is also tight since we seek to complete a revision of
the specification and associated schemas in time for teams to be able to pursue their work, ahead of a special issue related to inter-operability issues around OPM.
Timetable
Proposed timetable for v1.1:
- Change Proposals (begins June 15, 2009, completes July 31, 2009, extended August 15th)
- Proposals Review (begins August 1, 2009, completes September 6, 2009)
- Vote (begins September 16, completes September 25, 2009)
- At the end of each proposal, indicate your name and your vote (yes/no), feel free to add construct comments or still, counter-proposals can be made.
- Revised schemas (published September 30, 2009)
- Revised specification draft (November 15, 2009)
