SOFTWARE

QTItools is a collection of opensource software tools, libraries and web-services for the handling of QTI v2.1 questions and tests. To find out more; visit our wiki, download the source-code from our development site, or try our tools:

• JQTI - a core software library for the development of QTI applications
• validatr - a tool for validating QTI assessments
• assessr - a web-application for scheduling assessments and collating results
• constructr - a web-application for constructing simple assessments from items from an item-bank

The following tools have been deprecated!  We strongly suggest that you use its replacement, QTIEngine, instead (by clicking here).

• R2Q2 - a tool for rendering and responding to QTI items
• playr - a tool for playing QTI assessments

 

QTItools is part of the ASDEL project at the School of Electronics and Computer Science, University of Southampton. ASDEL was funded by JISC as part of the eAssessment demonstrators strand of the eLearning capital program. The R2Q2 component of QTItools was originally developed as part of the JISC funded R2Q2 project.
