Début: The Undergraduate Journal of Languages, Linguistics and Area Studies is an online peer-reviewed journal for undergraduate students of languages, linguistics and area studies. It aims to showcase scholarship carried out by undergraduate students in these subject areas. The first issue was launched in June 2010.

Languages in HE Conference : Transitions & ConnectionsClick to expand arrow

Keynote presentations now available at our conference 2008 website
We are very pleased to announce that video clips of the keynote presentations and employability panel from our 2008 conference are now available for viewing on our website. These include Professor Michael Kelly (LLAS Subject Centre Director), Professor Mike Byram (University of Durham), Dr Lid King (DCSF) and Sir Harold Walker (ex UK Ambassador to Iraq). The employability panel includes presentations from GCHQ, Praxis Interpreting, Astra Zeneca and BDB Marketing consultants.
Written presentations from the conference will also be available shortly from the conference web page.
