Luis Von Ahn and Edith Law recently released a book on Human Computation. They establish a framework for hcomp that essentially mirrors what they’ve been doing with reCaptcha and gwap (games with a purpose) among others. They gave an overview of what’s in the book at the HCOMP 2011 workshop in their tutorial – slides are available here: http://www.humancomputation.com/Tutorial.html
